About the Journal

In 1959, the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the University of Chile began the publication of the Revista chilena de historia del Derecho, which dealt with subjects in which law could be considered as a historical object. Its first director was Alamiro de Ávila Martel. It is still in force today as the main reference for researchers in the history of law.

The publication is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows third parties to use what is published as long as they make reference to the author or authors of the work and its publication in this journal.
